Human Resources Generalist (Human Resources)
JOB SUMMARY
Boeing Encore Interiors, a Boeing subsidiary, is currently looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to join our team and provide HR support to our U.S. business in Seal Beach and Huntington Beach, CA.
This position is a key member of the Boeing EnCore Interiors (BEI) Subsidiary HR team. They will administer HR programs, policies, and processes, partner with the business to understand needs and provide tactical and strategic direction of HR products and services. They will provide direct, on-the-floor support to the BEI customer. Focus on HR initiatives to advance organizational objectives in areas like workforce effectiveness, performance management, team effectiveness, training and development, and compensation and benefits. Able to interpret and understand labor and California compliance laws and its application, resolve HR issues, conduct investigations, and support the HR team on employee inquiries and concerns.
The position will work closely with both the BEI and Boeing Human Resources to deliver high quality, seamlessly integrated operational HR support for the business, the employees and managers. The team will be responsible for delivering HR products and services engaging with employees and managers in person to improve the employee experience.

Provides visible HR presence where our employees work to enable real time engagement and solutions. Direct HR Generalist to the business by serving as a point of contact for employees, addressing their concerns, and providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
Provide day-to-day coaching to leadership on a variety of actions to enable them to grow and perform at their best.
Contribute to the development of a culture of equity, diversity and inclusion where employee experience is at the center of HR service delivery.
Aids in supporting the delivery of key HR processes (e.g. performance support, investigations/threat management, employee movement, leadership coaching, etc.).
Investigate and resolve employee complaints, conflicts, and disciplinary issues in a fair and consistent manner.
Works closely HR Manager and business leadership to provide input for the design of HR programs in specific areas (e.g., labor relations, talent, compensation, training), and to support the delivery of programs.
Utilizes HR metrics and people data to drive solutions based on trends and understand effectiveness of support provided.
Prepare and maintain accurate job descriptions, benchmark jobs against survey data to determine competitive compensation ranges, analyze market-based compensation surveys and trends using spreadsheets and data analysis techniques.
Maintain the BEI business model and culture, while thoughtfully engaging the scale and resources that Boeing can provide. Use BEI business knowledge to make recommendations and proposals on key functional strategies, develops long and short-term strategies involving policies (e.g., Diversity, Employee Engagement and Functional Excellence) and embeds people plans in the operating rhythm of the organization
Participate in special projects as assigned.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS - Education, Knowledge, and Experience
Education:
Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required. 5 or more years of related work experience may supplement degree.
Experience:
3+ years of experience communicating and implementing HR programs, policies, practices
and processes
3+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and understanding
3+ years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders
and senior leaders across functions
Experience with subsidiaries, mergers and acquisitions preferred, but not required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Experience executing strategies and managing projects that promote a culture of superior customer service and exceptional employee engagement
Experience collaborating across organizational boundaries to deliver an integrated final product
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, high-impact communication style
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Spanish and/or Vietnamese preferred, but not required.
PHR/SPHR Certification or SHRM-CP/SHRM SCP Certification preferred.
