Plant Maintenance Class A
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be
assigned.

Must possess the ability to exercise good and rational judgment

Must possess the skills to work effectively with peers and subordinates

Assist in overseeing the maintenance of the building and equipment.

Notify Plant Maintenance Manager of the need for major repairs.

Use carpentry/mechanical skills as required, including using power and hand tools.

Operate forklift. Perform daily maintenance checks and ensure safe operation and follow all
established rules and policies regarding forklift operation.

Drive company vehicle when necessary.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities but will supervise employees in the Building/Plant
Maintenance in the Plant Maintenance Manager's absence.
