Human Services Practitioner (Finance)
The position is required to demonstrate the ability to prioritize forensic medical evaluations, consultations and treatment planning, facilitate psychological, psychiatric and specialist juvenile sex offender assessments and evaluations, undertake family psychosocial evaluations; crisis counseling provide expert court testimony; coordination of services; conduct multi-disciplinary staffings; interview parents, caregivers and children. The provision of abuse and neglect photography; consultation services to other agencies for abuse/neglect cases; provide on-call case coordination; provide training and education to other agencies and professionals within the community.Each position assigned to this classification must require specific training at the Bachelor's degree or Master's degree level in Education, Special Education, Psychology, Social Work, or other field appropriate to the program content. Bachelor's degree candidates must have at least two years of applicable experience. The Master's degree may substitute for the required experience. Grow Here .Responds to cases of alleged child maltreatment and conduct assessments in compliance with established assessment and intervention techniques, including initial risk assessments and family assessment. Actively contributes as a collaborative team member to the development of case plans, including safety and services planning, developed by other agencies.
Prepares and presents information and documentation for relevant judicial planning and court processes. Compiles reports and accurately update and maintain client information, both written and electronic in accordance with Departmental guidelines and confidentiality principles.
Provides information and community referrals to the child victims and their families. Follow-up to ensure that services are available at the referral site and that family needs have been addressed.
Participates in team management activities, such as development of procedures, guidelines, strategic planning, etc.
Develops and presents child abuse/neglect training for other professionals and agencies. Develops and presents community education.
Other duties as assigned.
