Mechanical Engineer Intern (Finance)
We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a driven and talented Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our dynamic team this summer. Our division at the Overhead Door Corporation corporate headquarters specializes in the design, test, and manufacture of commercial access systems, including rolling overhead doors, high-performance doors, and loading dock equipment. As part of our internship program, you will gain hands-on experience in mechanical engineering, contribute to impactful projects, and collaborate with seasoned professionals in the industry to contribute to our company's success.Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an ABET-accredited Mechanical Engineering degree program or a closely related field.
- Knowledge of mechanical design principles and engineering fundamentals, having completed Mechanics of Materials, Statics & Kinematics, and CAD coursework or their equivalent.
- Proficient in SolidWorks modeling and drafting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, receptive to feedback, and an eagerness to learn.
