Role description:
Arcadis is looking for a full-time Principal Management Consultant/AMI Expert with experience in designing electrical power systems for the municipal water / wastewater industry to join our team in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico!
Our team is focused on management consulting to support water, gas, and electric utilities with technology advisory, strategy development, feasibility analysis, process improvement, procurement, project management, and project implementation. We are a team focused on growing our portfolio of project experience and delivering outstanding outcomes to our clients.
Role accountabilities:
A successful candidate will have expertise in some or all of these areas and be able to execute on deliverables as assigned. The role involves building and nurturing relationships with clients, client executives, systems integrators, partners, vendors, and internal department personnel, as well as providing and supporting pursuits and opportunities through bringing a network of contacts.
The candidate should have the ability to develop scopes of work and estimated fees in alignment with customer needs, serve as a liaison between technical personnel and functional business users in the project environment, and work at client sites as needed to assist the team in the day-to-day management of the overall systems deployment, testing, and acceptance. Responsibilities also include assisting utility clients with the development of an advanced meter infrastructure (AMI), CIS implementations, or other utility technology implementation planning and execution for water, gas, electric, or combination, supervising and supporting the work of others, and mentoring staff.
The candidate is expected to utilize best practices knowledge to assist in the development and implementation of tools, policies, and procedures to increase the effectiveness of company objectives, become an Arcadis Certified Project Manager within 6 months of hire, travel as needed up to 25% for project site visits, client meetings, and some international travel, conduct project communications with strong written, oral, and presentation skills, manage scope, schedule, budget, profit and loss, and project expectations, plan and direct user training where applicable, and plan and direct system testing where applicable.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision, EAP, 401K, STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition program and optional benefits including wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $104,400 - $170,000 /yr. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
