Floating Press Operator - H (Nights 6pm to 6am) (Finance)

Demonstrate commitment to safety and performs job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
Demonstrates commitment to quality and performs job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines.
Should be aware of their responsibilities and their accountability is clearly defined for key staff involved with product safety, legality, and quality systems.
Understand job ticket information to determine quantity, stock specifications, special work instructions, and any other special customer requirements.
Determine the best manufacturing method to produce product efficiently and effectively.
Perform make ready and operate offset printing press efficiently.
Maintain high efficiency according to established rates during operation of the assigned press.
Troubleshoot and make decisions regarding the quality of finished product.
Complete required quality inspections and paperwork.
Work with peers and other departments to improve quality and performance.
Play an active role in the maintenance and cleanliness of the assigned press and surrounding work area.
Contribute to overtime needs to meet customer demands.
Must be qualified to operate Toppy skid turner.
Provide informal leadership to the Feeder Operator/Second Pressman to accomplish production objectives.
Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements.
Actively participate in Lean manufacturing initiatives.
