What you will enjoy doing*

• You will develop and manage detailed construction packages, including drawings, specifications, and scopes of work, tailored to industrial gases projects
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to align construction plans with project goals, technical requirements, and client expectations.
• Additionally, you will review and validate construction drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and project-specific needs for industrial gases facilities
• Act as the primary liaison with subcontractors, providing clear guidance and resolving technical, logistical, or schedule-related issues during construction
• Coordinate the scheduling and sequencing of subcontractor activities to optimize project timelines and ensure seamless integration of construction phases
• You will also conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, verify adherence to safety standards (e.g., OSHA, HAZOP), and ensure compliance with construction plans
• Work closely with the Site Construction Manager to address on-site challenges, implement corrective actions, and maintain project momentum
• Maintain accurate records of construction activities, including progress reports, change orders, and as-built documentation specific to industrial gases infrastructure
• Drive process improvements to enhance construction efficiency, subcontractor performance, and project outcomes in the industrial gases sector

What makes you great

• You will have a bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or related field) with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in construction coordination and management, OR 20 years of progressive experience in construction coordination and management without a degree
• Minimum of 10 years as a Site Construction Manager on large-scale industrial construction projects, with a focus on industrial gases (e.g., air separation, hydrogen, or CO2 processing plants)
• At least 10 years of experience coordinating construction packages, including drawings and specifications, for complex industrial gases projects
• Also, you will have a proficiency in construction management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, AutoCAD, Bluebeam) and familiarity with process engineering software relevant to industrial gases
• Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies for gas processing facilities
• In addition, you will have familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ASME, API, NFPA, and OSHA) specific to industrial gases
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification in a relevant engineering or construction discipline
• Experience with EPC delivery models for industrial gases projects and working in matrixed organizational structures
• Knowledge of cryogenic processes, gas purification systems, or related technologies in the industrial gases sector
• Familiarity with lean construction principles or other process optimization methodologies
