We are seeking a dynamic and organized Activities Director! The primary purpose of the Activity Director position is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Activity Department in accordance with current federal, state, local and corporate standards, regulations, and guidelines to assure that an on-going program of activities is designed to meet, in accordance with the comprehensive assessment, the interests and physical, mental, and psychosocial needs of each resident.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Activity Director to lead and oversee our resident-centered activities program. The ideal candidate will plan, develop, implement, and evaluate engaging activities that enhance residents' quality of life while meeting regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and manage monthly activity schedules, including group activities, resident outings, and in-room programming for those with limited mobility.
- Foster communication among residents, families, staff, and community partners to support resident needs.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and participate in facility surveys and quality improvement initiatives.
- Assist in developing care plans, assessments, and discharge planning related to activities.
- Encourage resident participation in hobbies and self-initiated interests by providing necessary materials and support.
- Document activity plans and residents' responses accurately in progress notes.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with a focus on resident-centered care.
- The ability to collaborate effectively with staff, residents, families, and community partners.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for long-term care facilities.
