Summer Camp Schedule:Candidates must be available to work the following dates (some exceptions may apply including pre-approved absences):
Camp training: May 29th, mandatoryCamp weeks: June 2 through August 8th, Monday through FridayCamp hours: 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., shifts are typically 4-8 hours in length

The YMCA of Central Kentucky is seeking enthusiastic individuals who have a passion for working with school age children in an outdoor environment. The Summer Camp Counselor is responsible for supervision, providing quality curriculum, and safety of children in our program. The counselor will work with camp leadership to provide a program that fosters childrens social, physical, and mental growth.

Essential Functions:
Meet the individual needs of all children at the site, regardless of group placementSupervise children by sight and sound at all timesMust be able to comprehend and implement state licensing rules as they relate to child careUphold the associations child protection policies, child abuse and neglect guidelines and proper reporting procedures

Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of ageMust have obtained a high school diploma/GED (proof must be provided)
