Position Overview:
This position is for an Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer. You will be working closely with a talented team to deliver a complex software application into operations. In addition, you'll have the opportunity to grow and hone your skills with other talented members at ARKA. Our ideal candidate is an Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer who is a hard charging self-starter that can come onto a team and begin to produce quickly. You should have a basic understanding of Kubernetes, containerization, automated test, and deployment pipelines.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related engineering field
2 years of Infrastructure/DevOps experience
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and engage with virtual or remote teams
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Basic understanding of Kubernetes and deploying applications to Kubernetes clusters
Basic knowledge of one of the major cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Gitlab, Jenkins, Github Actions, etc)
Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Bash, Python, GitHub workflows)
Active TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Existing or ability to obtain IAT Level II or III certification (i.e. CompTIA Security , CISSP, or CASP )
Working knowledge of Scrum and Agile software development methodology
Experience with container tools (Docker, Podman) and container orchestration
Experience delivering microservices in Kubernetes-based systems
Experience with using Helm charts to deploy software to Kubernetes clusters (ie. Argo CD)
Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Basic understanding of observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana or similar
