We're looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented Learning Specialist (K–12) to join our high-performing, award-winning charter school network. If you're passionate about helping students with IEPs thrive in a structured, supportive environment—and value collaboration, data-driven teaching, and small caseloads—this role is designed for you.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $56,000–$65,000 (based on experience)
  • $2,000 sign-on bonus
  • 7 paid personal days annually

Your Day-to-Day As a Learning Specialist, you'll:

  • Manage a small caseload of students with mild to moderate needs
  • Provide direct and indirect instruction aligned to each student's IEP goals
  • Adapt general education content and collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure inclusive, accessible learning
  • Collaborate with other specialists and service providers to align supports and interventions
  • Lead the IEP process, including writing plans, tracking progress, and facilitating family meetings
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal special education laws
  • Serve as a technical support resource for staff regarding IEP strategies, accommodations, and modifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid Colorado Special Education license or endorsement
  • Experience managing IEPs and supporting students with disabilities in K–12 settings
  • Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills
  • Satisfactory background and reference checks
