About the Team
The Global HR Shared Services team, a division of the HR Enablement Team, is a centralized hub of HR administration and operational functions supported by a multi-tiered service delivery model. The team manages the myHR portal which serves as a self-service associate platform for HR information such as benefits, payroll, HR policies, other HR programs, and questions. The team is responsible for delivering results that improve the associates' experience and efficiency while enabling the HR department to focus on advancing the firm's strategic initiatives.
Role Summary
The successful candidate will be a service-oriented individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, team environment with minimal instruction while adjusting priorities often, as well as managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. The HR Services Specialist provides professional, accurate and efficient responses to HR inquiries within the firm to US and Canadian associates, leaders, retirees, and others who contact the HR Shared Services (HRSS) team via our internal myHR tool, phone, or e-mail. The incumbent will leverage available systems and resources such as Workday, SalesForce, myHR knowledge articles and follow standard operating procedures, partner with internal teams to answer standard questions and resolve issues.
Responsibilities
As directed, collects data required for the completion of HR advisory reporting activities, historical analyses, or long-term forecasts. May perform basic analyses to support program development.
Performs basic reviews/inspections of compiled data/information to ensure compliance with standards in place.
Gathers information and compiles employee feedback to assist more senior staff, professionals, and management in identifying trends and areas of opportunity within HR programs.
Contributes to the development of communication materials to support associate education and engagement in HR programs. May independently develop first drafts of basic materials/collateral for senior colleague review.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and AND
3+ years of total relevant work experience
Preferred:
Prior team leadership or project leadership experience.
Strong delivery of customer service
HR experience
Technologies: Proficiency with Workday, Salesforce and/or ServiceNow
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Leveraging office tools to effectively achieve time management skills
Ability to follow policies and procedures using good judgement and critical thinking
Ability to handle confidential information in a professional and discreet manner
Intellectual curiosity with strong desire for continued learning and personal development including staying abreast of regulatory and firm policies and changes
Excellent oral and written communications skills demonstrating good judgement when delivering information
FINRA Requirements
FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
Work Flexibility
This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to two days per week from home.
Scheduled hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am - 5 pm MT. For the first 90 days of employment, the work model will be on site in our Colorado Springs office Monday - Thursday, with flexibility to work from home on Fridays. After the first 90 days, there will be flexibility to work from home up to 2 days/week.
Base Salary Ranges

$49,500.00 - $84,000.00 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers
$54,500.00 - $92,500.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C.
$62,000.00 - $106,000.00 for the location of: New York, California
Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual's relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
