Metal Mold Service Technician (Manufacturing)
Stone and polish molds to meet quality standards.
Select and shape pencil stones for accurate mold detailing.
Perform quality assurance (QA) checks on plastic injections.
Sand and buff molds to achieve smooth finishes.
Stamp molds with precise markings.
Cast stones and shape leads for mold completion.
Pour, shape, and stamp leads to ensure consistency in production.
Lap molds for optimal alignment and functionality.
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze quality and process issues.
Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience operating machinery like steam cleaners, plastic injection machines, and drum sanders.
Proficiency in using hand tools such as gravers, torches, punches, and stamps.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize safety in a workshop environment.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
Must be comfortable working in a shop environment with exposure to machinery, tools, and safety protocols.
Requires the ability to lift and maneuver materials and equipment as part of daily tasks.
Regular use of hand tools and machinery in a standing or seated position.
