Job Summary
The Project Specialist II Hybrid, in our Houston, TX plant maintains the highest ethical professional standards, is strategic and thoughtful in their work, and proactively seeks opportunities to drive the performance of the All-Glass Entrance team. This role is responsible for providing regional support to the glass facilities to drive the overall productivity and effectiveness of the sales organization. This role works closely with internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership, to support the company's goals. Reporting to the Regional All Glass Entrance Manager, the Project Specialist II manages project coordinators under their scope and coordinates architectural entrances and engineered products, programs & software application, business information and records, and sales activities. Proactively strives to maintain the highest levels of quality and accuracy within the sales organization's operational performance.
Here's What You'll Get To Do
Review project documents at hand over from estimating; identifying all issues that require special attention, prioritize tasks and critical path issues.
Develop full - scale project plans and associated communication documents.
Review order details, shop drawings and specifications with estimate to determine scope of order.
Creation of detailed sales orders and jobs in ERP system.
Write up order summaries accurately detailing order requirements including dimensions, quantities and providing detail drawings, and special instructions where necessary.
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members & stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
Coordinate orders with design, production, and shipping to ensure requirements are clearly understood and order commitments met.
Provide regular updates to the master production schedule.
Plan and schedule project milestones & timelines using appropriate tools.
Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
Routine follow up of orders with staff, assist and instruct where necessary to ensure tasks are being addressed in a timely manner to ensure order commitments are met.
Provide regular updates to customers and address complaints and concerns. Effectively identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
Effectively track project milestones & deliverables.
Proactively and effectively manage project cost in comparison with the project estimate.

Here's What We're Looking For
• Minimum 7-10 years of related experience in Herculite, Handrail and Canopy design/installation.
• Knowledge and experience of Window & Curtainwall, Herculite, Handrail or Storefront industry preferred but not required.
• Technology Diploma from Community College or preferred.
• Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office Applications, such as: Microsoft Word, Excel & Project Management, PowerPoint
