Professor of Practice - Digital Fabrication and Arts and Technology (Finance)
Professors of Practice teach a 4-4 course load. The person serving in this role will receive 5 course releases (3 in fall semesters and 2 in spring semesters) in exchange for substantial service work, including managing the Arts & Technology Center (ATC), including the Equipment Checkout Room, maintenance and operations of all equipment and spaces, supervision of ATC employees, ensuring the continuity of ATC operations during summer months, and other responsibilities as assigned.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses as assigned, including but not limited to Digital Fabrication.
Candidates should have experience teaching undergraduate and graduate students, supervising arts production spaces, and managing student employees. Candidates should provide evidence of research and scholarly activity, including the establishment of a national reputation and recognition of the candidate's fabrication skills.
