Maintenance electricians are responsible for the maintenance, repair, testing, and installation of electrical systems such as single and polyphase electrical circuits including motor controls, three-phase medium voltage distribution circuits, variable frequency drives, medium and low voltage motors. The work accomplished shall ensure safe and reliable operation in the facilities. Responsibilities: Perform the installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of in-service electrical systems operating at up to 15KV in a real-time industrial environment in a safe reliable manner. The candidate should be able to read and interpret drawings such as single line diagrams, and electrical schematics. A successful candidate should be able to install rigid conduit, raceways, panel, and switchboards according to approved methods and schematics in a workmanlike manner. Perform preventative maintenance of electrical equipment as required to ensure production uptime. Candidate should be proficient in the troubleshooting and installation of 480V & 4160v motors and control circuits, branch circuits, and transformers. Candidate must be familiar with the proper usage of both electronic measurement equipment (VOM, Megohmeter, Ammeters, Etc.) and trade specific hand tools.
