The Research Technician performs technical laboratory duties to support a research project. These duties include laboratory tasks, animal handling, histopathological sample preparation, and basic data analysis. The successful candidate will perform routine and more complex technical duties to assist coworkers in the laboratory. Furthermore, this role entails analyzing data and creating graphs and charts for publication.This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and three years of laboratory or research experience. Grow Here .Perform technical and research functions on projects by assisting with tissue harvesting, immunohistochemistry analysis, microscopy image analysis, mouse behavior testing, stereotaxic surgery, and other mouse characterizations. Works with team members on research projects and helps prepare reports on experiments and data for the research supervisor's review and analysis. Assist with general laboratory inventory and maintenance, and perform other assigned tasks as needed.
