Position Overview
The Marketing Automation Manager serves as a subject matter expert and owner for marketing automation operations to support multiple business areas, but primarily Corporate Marketing. They are accountable for ensuring the day-to-day operations of the “Adobe Campaign Classic” marketing automation platform, collaborating with Corporate Marketing to develop and nurture best-in-class marketing automation campaigns, and supporting the continued enhancement of the platform. This individual will be collaborating with other Marketing Technology leaders such as our Website Software Engineering Manager and their teams, and collectively develop and help manage a roadmap for Marketing Technology.
This individual will work closely with other team members, business resources, and stakeholders across the enterprise to support digital marketing efforts.
It is the responsibility of the Marketing Automation Manager to serve in an ongoing partnership with customers, maintaining in-depth knowledge of business operations, strategies, information requirements, and priorities. The group is tasked with building positive and active partnerships across the client enterprise, taking leadership roles in clarifying and communicating vision for how the group can serve the client's needs. The Marketing Automation Manager helps drive initial customer needs analyses, ensures customer requests are compatible with IT's technical direction, helps to prioritize needs enterprise-wide, and participates with customers and other IT groups in the development of annual and long-term system plans.
Based on knowledge of assigned customers' businesses, the Marketing Automation Manager is proactively identifying opportunities to apply technologies to business processes. They inform and advise customers on information systems technologies, their functionalities, benefits, risks, and implementation requirements, and provide services such as facilitating priority setting and brokering contracts on behalf of customers.
Incumbents in this position are challenged to develop and maintain credibility and effective working relations with both customer management and IT personnel in a way that demonstrates an understanding of business problems, IT strategies, issues, and priorities. These positions require forward-thinking individuals who seek opportunities to apply technology to improving business processes within strategic system goals.
What You'll Do
Support Corporate Marketing and Marketing areas across other lines of business through the creation and deployment of multichannel marketing content authoring campaigns, ad hoc emails, tracking of delivery metrics, enhancement of Adobe Experience Manager capabilities, and monitoring of daily operational responsibilities related to the application.

Own and manage the Consent Management Platform, OneTrust to facilitate opt-in, opt-outs and consent tracking throughout the Marketing Digital Operation team
Work closely with IT business partners, Program Managers, Business Analysts, and Content Authors to act as the subject matter expert for the Adobe Experience Manager and Campaign Classic platforms, making informed decisions based on best practices, and provide efficient solutions to meet the business need.
Provide leadership, training, and guidance to junior resources, including offshore marketing content authoring and marketing automation resources to ensure operational excellence in marketing automation, content authoring and digital marketing operations
Handling of day-to-day workflow (monitoring operational processes within Adobe Campaign Classic, Experience Manager, OneTrust Consent Management and related tools)
Support/Lead project activities including requirements gathering, technical discussions, creation of complex marketing automation workflows, data mapping, reviewing delivery tracking and campaign performance reports, implementation of a new application, system functionality or integration.
Qualifications
5-10 years of relevant experience with an emphasis on content authoring, marketing automation, creation of complex multichannel marketing automation and content authoring campaigns, digital marketing best practices, marketing strategy, campaign testing, application and data maintenance, configuration, and support.
Subject matter expert in the Adobe Campaign Classic platform; knowledge of the Adobe Experience Cloud suite of tools is a big plus
Prior experience orchestrating and building out successful multichannel Marketing Automation campaigns inclusive of tracking metrics and success of those programs is required
An in-depth understanding of the Digital Marketing business is required, as this Technical Manager will be responsible for collaborating with our business partners on the Corporate Marketing side and providing Technology recommendations and be responsible for implementing them
Ability to be comfortable in a non-hierarchical, flat organization and, if required, operate under a dual reporting relationship; ability to thrive in a somewhat unstructured hands-on environment that demands a consultative approach and solutions that span multiple environments in a business area; strong teamwork and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all management levels and strong written communications skills, including technical writing
