Summary of Position: The Inventory associate position is a hands-on-role ideally suited to someone who is detail oriented and energetic. Strong manufacturing experience a plus! The Inventory associate track products or materials that come into and go out of the inventory via inventory records. This position acts as the liaison between the warehouse and production floor; both excellent computer and communication skills are a must. Duties & Responsibilities: Uses computer to compile and maintain records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked in establishment: count material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts totals to inventory records. Responsible for on-site inventory management.Maintains stock levels to support production needs and understands lead times of each material.Ensure accurate product inventory for clientsDevelop an inventory tracking system to streamline our business operationsCommunicate with our Operations team about current stock and potential issues with ordersConduct daily analyses to forecast potential inventory issuesReport on inventory activities and variancesAssess new inventory to ensure it is ready for shipping or deliveryDevelop and implement inventory control procedures and best practicesAbility to work flexible hours.Forklift, Reach lift hands on experiencePerform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Listen, learn and communicate with supervisor and coworkers.Work with Microsoft Programs (Excel, Word, GP Dynamics)Take direction and come back with solid results/solutions. Focus on results.Manage daily tasks and meet time-lines.Adapt quickly to changes or restructure of priorities.Understanding of tactical materials and understanding the style and construction of tactical products.
