This role reports directly to the Plant Manager and ensures the logistics department operates safely and efficiently. It requires an understanding of functional areas and team leadership. The position also leads logistics projects for warehouse improvements and acts as a liaison for third-party operations (if applicable) regarding raw materials and finished goods.
In this role, you will:
Develop strategies, objectives, and plans to optimize Distribution Center and Material Flow operations, ensuring On-Time/In Full, top-notch storage and handling, and high inventory accuracy with low damage.
Drive logistics value capture activities to eliminate waste, improve storage density, and achieve cost savings.
Provide input on improving processes, standards, or operational plans supporting mill/Logistics strategies, impacting overall business unit results.
Maintain safe working conditions and promote a people-based safety culture aligned with plant objectives.
Lead and develop the site Logistics team, providing direction to ensure effective labor resource utilization.
Build and maintain supplier relationships with third-party operations and hold them accountable for performance.
Develop and implement cost management practices and improvement programs.
Manage materials handling equipment, including lift trucks, robotic cells, palletizers, and conveyance systems.
Oversee Trailer Yard services, ensuring safety and efficiency.

Bachelor's degree required and 10+ years of experience in logistics or operations
Experience in a leadership/supervisory position, required.
Ability to apply in-depth advanced Logistics knowledge and skills, integrating theories and principles into the context of the broader Kimberly-Clark Supply-Chain
Must provide Logistics expert advice, coaching and counseling to peers and the broader Logistics organization in general
Experience in a high-speed industrial manufacturing, logistics or supply chain environment, preferred.
Experience with LEAN Manufacturing and problem solving, preferred.

Salary Range: $141,000- $173,500 USD
At Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. Along with base pay, this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit-Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.
Kimberly-Clark will support in-country relocation for the chosen candidate for the role. The benefits provided will be per the terms of Kimberly-Clark's applicable mobility policies. The benefits/policy provided will be decided at Kimberly-Clark's sole discretion.
This is a Grade 8 position in the US. Grades may vary by location.
