Executive Director, Coll/Div Career Services (Finance)
1. Leads staff, executes strategy, and oversees operations and budgets of a large career services unit within a college or division.
2. Initiates, develops and maintains relationships with current and prospective industry partners, which includes working with the media as needed and presenting at conferences and employer gatherings to promote University and College brand.
3. Develops and oversees programs which increase the internship and placement rates of students to improve both placement outcomes and rankings for the college/university.
4. Works closely with groups and individual students and faculty to promote and expand experiential learning, placement and industry engagement.
5. Assists in the rankings and accreditation process by collecting and providing outcomes data to accrediting bodies and rankings organizations according to established audit standards.
6. Gathers and reports data and outcomes for experiential learning to internal and external assessment, accreditation and reporting organizations.
7. Attends and presents at key events and meetings to promote the college and further employer engagement priorities.
8. May serve as the primary point of contact and decision-maker for all industry-focused resources and meeting spaces.
9. Manages key advisory boards, such as Employer Advisory Board or Experiential Learning Faculty Advisory Committee.
10. Other duties as assigned.
MQ: Requires application of advanced principles, techniques and theory in a professional discipline or a thorough general business management knowledge. Knowledge of this level is typically obtained through a directly job-related Master's degree or equivalent formal training in a recognized field of specialization that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Requires a minimum of seven (7) years of directly job-related experience.
