POSITION SUMMARY:
The OT Project Coordinator I handles project logistics, ensuring smooth operations by coordinating team efforts, tracking progress, managing schedules, and communicating with stakeholders to meet deadlines and budgets. Projects include OT solutions for new construction supporting all Operational Technology teams. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders, development teams, and senior management to liaise in the delivery of scalable solutions using an agile framework, supporting multiple scrum teams across the USF community for continuous improvement and optimal delivery.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Planning and Initiation: Assist in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with Product Owners and stakeholders; support the creation of detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk assessments; develop project documentation, such as project charters, status reports, and meeting minutes.
Task Management and Coordination: Collaborate in tasks with team members based on their expertise and availability; monitor project progress against the plan, identifying potential roadblocks and proactively addressing issues; facilitate communication between team members, stakeholders, and vendors.
Track project dependencies and ensure timely completion of critical tasks.
Stakeholder Management: Participate in agile ceremonies with teams and stakeholders to provide updates on progress and address concerns; proactively manage expectations and communicate any changes to project scope or timeline; gather feedback from stakeholders to ensure project aligns with business needs.
Quality Assurance: Adhere to quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet defined standards; review processes to identify and resolve issues before project completion.
Reporting and Analysis: Provide progress updates, key metrics, and risk assessments; analyze project data to identify areas of improvement and implement process enhancements.
Performs other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field; 1-3 years of experience in a project coordination role, preferably within a construction environment supporting IT systems; Proven ability to manage small to medium-sized projects from initiation to completion.
Experience with project management software like Jira or Microsoft Project.
