Your Role:
As our Staffing Coordinator/Central Supply, you'll be the key player in making sure everything runs smoothly. Whether you're scheduling staff, ensuring the proper inventory of medical supplies, or coordinating with other departments, you'll keep things organized and on track for our team and residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Staffing Coordination: Manage daily staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage for our residents. Communicate staffing changes and ensure shifts are filled in a timely manner.
- Central Supply Management: Oversee the inventory of medical supplies, ensuring the facility is stocked with the materials needed to provide the best care. Order and organize supplies, and track usage to ensure nothing is overlooked.
- Collaboration: Work closely with leadership and department heads to coordinate staffing needs and ensure smooth operations across departments.
- Administrative Support: Assist with paperwork and reporting as needed, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in staffing coordination or central supply (healthcare or long-term care experience preferred, but not required)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
