Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. National Automation Service Manager Location: Burr Ridge, IL Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a National Automation Service Manager to join our team! The National Automation Service Manager will engage as needed in performance of service functions and provide leadership and direction for 8 Technicians and will provide comprehensive support to local management, sales and field personnel. What we offer you! - Competitive compensation - Comprehensive benefits plan (medical, dental, vision and more) - 401(k) retirement savings plan - Paid time off (vacation, holidays, PTO) - Employee discount programs - Career growth opportunities What you will be doing: - Responsible for the required activities that fulfill business and customer requirements - Supervise employee and operational performance - Define and evaluate quality, cost, pricing, and productivity objectives of automation service team - Ensure the teams activities adhere to safety and compliance requirements - Manage and schedule team of regional automation service technicians - Act as the primary service contact with end users and vendors - Engage in training as approved in an effort to remain current on the latest offerings/technologies - Conduct monthly reviews of technician activities with correlation of report for MetFab Marketing - Work with MetFab Marketing to determine whether new policies should be developed/ applied - Apply discretion when entering into contracts on behalf of company - Apply knowledge of service requirements and pricing to solve moderate problems for defined business/ products - Develop models to address specific business needs and problems - Present findings and makes recommendations What makes you great: - Minimum two year technical degree preferred - Minimum five years automation field technician required - Management experience preferred - In depth knowledge of electrical, flow, and mechanical systems Why you will enjoy working with us: Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2023 sales of $33 billion.
