Payment Coordinator - Aurora, IL (Finance)
Position Summary
Performs payment postings transactions and online credit card payment processing. Manages and process all payment-related activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely communication with internal departments and customers. This involves handling physical checks, lockbox payments, ACH transactions, credit card payments, and prepayments, while maintaining detailed logs and records. Oversee customer authorization forms, handle declined payments, issue tax credits and refunds, and support the service teams with order notifications and payment status updates.

Supervisory Responsibilities: There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.
Work Environment: Office Environment and hybrid. Three days in the office and 2 days remote.
Physical Demands: The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position.
Monday – Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM or 8:30am – 5:00pm
Travel: There are no travel requirements for this position.
Required Education and Experience: High School degree or equivalent; additional specialized training. One to two years of experience.
