Design Engineer (Manufacturing)
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop commercially viable designs for product offerings, using CAD and other resources.
- Collaborate with Lead Engineer to develop, execute and implement new products from concept to production.
- Maintain full compliance to ISO quality procedures and processes.
- Provide technical customer support and assistance.
Education/Certification
Level Required
Creo Parametric Professional Certification or equivalent
Level Desired
Associates in Mechanical Design Technology
Work Experience
Required
- 2 years of relevant work experience
- 4 years of applicable technical experience with Creo (ProE)
- Experience with Product Development in an ISO controlled environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Desired
- Design skills in related plastic processes and/or materials
- Experience with Windchill or other PDM software
- Experience with SolidWorks, SpaceClaim, KeyShot, or AutoCAD

- Knowledge of methods and accepted practices of plastic injection molding, tooling, and tooling design.
- Knowledge of technologies and applications used in manufacturing products and in the optimization of manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of day-to-day and strategic issues, operational requirements.
Travel Requirements
- Ability to travel up to 10% both domestically and internationally to support the business, including overnight stays and extended work hours during work meetings, travel may include weekends.
- Ability to obtain a passport.
