Sr. Coordinator- Board and Volunteer Engagement (Finance)
1. Provides partnership and support to executive leadership volunteer engagement opportunities including the University's presidentially appointed advisory boards and Advancement Ambassadors, the elite service-based student leadership organization connected to Advancement.
2. Develops, coordinates and implements programmatic initiatives with University Advancement (UA) partners including the on-campus engagement space
3. Database and constituent record maintenance including tracking engagement, submitting updates and maintaining volunteer leadership opportunities and donor engagement activities.
4. Ensures best practices and protocols are followed and implemented for successful volunteer opportunities and donor engagement.
5. Partners with Advancement colleagues to provide assistance and support in the implementation of volunteer participation strategies for development fundraising plans.
6. Reviews records and reports of activities to ensure progress is being accomplished toward specified program objectives, recommends modifications to assessment methods or procedures.
7. Supports annual engagement, recruitment, retention and recognition plans to enhance the relationship between volunteers for the University and UH strategic goals.
8. Acts as an additional editor, drafts materials and official correspondence, and contributes to larger initiatives as needed.
9. Performs other job-related duties as required.
MQ: Education: Requires a basic knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation and simple mathematical functions like percentages, ratios, etc. as might normally be acquired through attainment of a high school diploma or GED.
Experience: Requires a minimum of three (3) years of directly job-related experience.
Certification/Licensing: None.

As the Senior Coordinator, Board and Volunteer Engagement at the University of Houston, you will be a key member of the Board and Volunteer Engagement team responsible for a wide variety of programming and resource development efforts that support the effective and meaningful engagement of leadership volunteers across the University. This will involve managing and executing strategically important and high visibility programs that recognize and celebrate UH volunteers. Additionally, this role will provide high-level concierge service to board members and donors that are consistent and comprehensive across all presidentially appointed boards. To excel in this role, the Senior Coordinator will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as they will be working closely with university leaders, key stakeholders, and high-level executives. They should also possess strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities to identify and implement effective solutions to challenges, and a proven track record of successful leadership and teamwork.
