What Youll Do:
Dishwashing with Care: Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cookware to ensure that everything is ready for use. You'll maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.Team Support: Assist the kitchen team by helping prepare clean equipment and utensils for meal preparation. Your efforts will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly.Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the dish area clean, organized, and free of debris. Make sure all equipment is in good working order, and report any issues to the kitchen manager.Waste Management: Properly dispose of trash and recyclables and ensure that the dish area remains stocked with cleaning supplies.
What You Bring:
Education: Were looking for a high school grad or equivalent.Team Player: A willingness to collaborate and support your team with a positive attitude.Dependability: Reliability is key in ensuring smooth kitchen operations.Experience: Previous experience in dishwashing or a related field is a plus, but not required.
Working Conditions: Dishwashers often work on their feet, handling dishes and kitchen equipment in a fast-paced environment. This role involves adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure residents well-being. While it can be physically demanding, it offers the opportunity to be part of a team that ensures the kitchen runs efficiently and residents enjoy clean, safe meals.
Physical Demands: Dishwashers will need to stand and walk frequently, lift and carry trays and dishware, bend, reach, and perform other physical tasks. This role requires mobility and physical fitness to provide efficient support to the kitchen team.
