What we do:
The Legal & Compliance Group comprises several separate and distinct Functions: Bank Applications, Compliance, Ethics, Group Operations and Strategy (GOAS), Legal, and Records Management. The Group Operations and Strategy Function, where the Product Owner will sit, helps the group strategically assess its work and provides resources and strategies in furtherance of group and Bank objectives
Your role as Ethics Product Owner:
Set ambitious and clear vision for Legal Group Product(s) and communicate user stories effectively to stakeholders, their squad, and the rest of the technology organization.
End to end squad output strategy from inception to production
Collaboration with Enterprise Platforms and Capabilities stakeholders to prioritize Product(s) features and ensure delivery aligns with product requirements
Accountable for product-specific KPIs once a solution enters production, and communicates regular tracking to stakeholders
Utilize market and industry knowledge to translate user needs into user stories and acceptance criteria for their squad; maintain a backlog 3 to 4 sprints ahead of the squad
Works closely with Chief Product Officer, Product Management, and business lines to establish each product's business value and support messaging, communication, and customer outreach as necessary
Facilitate release planning with stakeholders as well as weekly demos
Plays a key role on Agile squad(s) and works onsite with the squad daily to ensure delivery
Integrates usability studies and research into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction and ensure customer driven design
Align outward facing product requirements and stakeholders
What we are looking for:
Proven knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures with relevant business capabilities across several Legal Group subject areas including Personal Trading, Compliance Monitoring and Training Program Development, Knowledge Management, Document Management, Matter Tracking, Compliance Monitoring and Training Program Development.
Integration mind-set and approach to ensure product dependencies and integration points are understood and delivered across product lines
Strong understanding of compliance programs, practices, services, and concepts
Strong collaborator with cross-functional teams from technology, business, and National Information Technology
Proven knowledge and understanding of standard precision practices, technology, data and supporting industry principles
Experienced in facilitating agile ceremonies, managing a backlog/release plan, tracking team level metrics, removing blockers (burndown chart, release burn up, etc.)
Deep experience leading with teams in an agile setting
Strong problem solver with ability to manage and lead the team to push the solution and progress
Passion to challenge the status quo and find new solutions and drive out of the box ideas – loves and embraces change, and strong influencing skills
Salary Range: $150100 – $174500 / year
