Role description:
Arcadis is seeking a Senior Manager, Sustainability Advisory to join our U.S.-based Sustainability Advisory business focused on climate risk assessment and reporting. As Senior Manager, Sustainability Advisory, you will be a key contributor to our regional Sustainability Advisory team in the U.S., serving as project lead and technical expert primarily on decarbonization and net zero strategy and implementation services and supporting also overall Arcadis' sustainability capabilities (Sustainability Strategy and Program Design, Sustainability Measurement, Sustainability Goal Setting and Achievement Plans, Sustainability Reporting, Net Zero Strategy, Circularity, Nature and Biodiversity etc.) across a range of industries.
This role is hybrid role located in Arcadis's office in New York City. The ideal candidate for this role will be a highly organized self-starter with strong program management and communication skills, proven experience delivering decarbonization strategy and implementation programs to global portfolios, and ability to collaborate across internal functions, cultures, and geographies.
Arcadis is focused on solving our clients most complex sustainability challenges. As such, you will help build the strategy around, innovate approaches for, and grow the Sustainability Advisory services in North America, reporting to our North America Managing Director, Sustainability Advisory. This role will work horizontally across our Global Business Areas, Mobility, Places, Resilience and Intelligence, draw upon their capabilities as needed to support the advisory team and drive demand for the "pull-through" of Arcadis' other technical services.
Role accountabilities:
As Senior Manager, Sustainability Advisory, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of and business growth in decarbonization related programs ensuring client satisfaction, effective project management, collaboration between Arcadis colleagues and client business representatives. The ideal candidate needs to demonstrate strong consulting, program management and communication skills and executive presence with ability to explain complex topics to a variety of audiences, and should have the ability to master and navigate new subject domains quickly and innovative problem-solving skills, and demonstrated experience in successfully navigating in a cross-functional role
The role requires experience implementing decarbonization programs at a global scale with measurable results, and experience with multi stakeholder engagement. The candidate should demonstrate experience delivering decarbonization strategy and implementation plans; energy and GHG emission calculations and modeling, and financial planning preferably in real estate and built environment; reporting in line with frameworks such as GHG protocol, Science Based Targets Initiative, CSRD, EU Taxonomy.

We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $145000 - $217500. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
