Pool Attendant, Full-Time (Seasonal) - Doubletree Magnificent Mile (Finance)

The DoubleTree Hilton Chicago - Magnificent Mile is looking for a full-time Pool Attendant to join our team for the season from May to September.

Tucked between Magnificent Mile shopping and Navy Pier attractions, our location makes exploring Chicago easy. We're a 10-minute walk from 360 CHICAGO, Millennium Park, and the CTA Red Line.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months to 1 year of experience working in the hotel industry in a guest facing role, the ability to lift, push, and carry up to 50 lbs, and full availability, including nights, holidays, and weekends.

Shift Pattern: Full-Time - Full availability, including nights, holidays, and weekends

Length of Season: The season will run from the end of May to September (weather permitting)

Pay Range: $22.00 / hour

What will I be doing?

As a Pool Attendant, you would be responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and fun environment for guests at the pool.

Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Greet guests and attend to their pool-related needs including, but not limited to, getting fresh towels, relocating chairs and/or umbrellas, confirming registration and issuing recreational equipment, etc.
• Clean the pool area including, but not limited to, ashtrays, furniture, tables, decks, pool tiles, shower tiles, slide tiles, rocks, and cabanas.
• Collect and replenish pool towels and monitor inventory to minimize loss.
• Maintain equipment including, but not limited to, umbrellas, speakers, rafts, pool toys, etc.
• Monitor use of the facility and address and/or report potential hazards.
• Respond to guest inquiries and service issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Perform general Recreation duties, as needed.
