TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Digital QA Test Engineer III located in Atlanta, GA.
This role will test, execute and qualify new and existing features for out DEP global platform E2E throughout the completed development cycle.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for the testing devices, interfaces, and protocols for our digital elevator platform.
- Support testing digital products within the engineering team and be a key contributor in the AGILE SCRUM workflow.
- Design, develop, and execute black-box testing.
- Configuration of test environments.
- Develop automated test scripts and frameworks for improved mobile app performance.
- Report timely issues identified during any testing activities.
- Providing feedback to development teams on technical, troubleshooting, or operational issues.
- Implementation of requirements and test plans for core features.
- Provision DEP platform and troubleshoot, as needed.
- Support key project deliverables within the engineering team
- Assist with provisioning, wiring, and routing of test setups/fixtures
- Work with software engineers on supporting project scope
- Support engineering projects with rapid testing, provisioning, requirements, test cases and module development.
- Maintain compliance with global code requirements. (A17, EN, GB, NBR...)
- Create and maintain software design requirements and other related documentation.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field is required.
- 5+ years' experience in engineering with a focus in software/embedded testing.
- 3+ years' experience in test automation and frameworks
- Automation programming experience in javascript, python, or other related languages.
- CI/CD with Gitlab, Jenkins or Bamboo.
- Jira and Azure DevOps for testing and reporting issues
- Up to date with latest test automation tools and technologies
- General understanding of embedded - Linux preferred.
- General experience with requirement management systems - Atlassian Toolchain.
- General experience with cloud management systems - Azure Devops.
- General experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud resources and systems.
- General systems networking and infrastructure knowledge required.
- Basic cloud connectivity experience, optional (Azure).
- Practical experience working with embedded hardware required.
- Must possess strong trouble shooting and problem-solving skills required.
- Must possess the ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams.
- Must possess strong decision-making skills and the ability to work well with others.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Experience with hands on technical wiring and assembly of electro-mechanical equipment is a PLUS.
- Requires working in lab and test tower, therefore all employees must be willing to adhere to all safety procedures and company safety standards.
