The mission of the Department of Radiology is to advance the knowledge and practice of diagnostic imaging and radiation sciences. Our goals are to provide excellent clinical care for our patients, to teach residents and students excellence in clinical imaging, and to create new knowledge through scholarly activities.Medical degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching and service. Must hold a full, unrestricted Florida Medical License. Medical staff member in good standing at the hospitals he/she is assigned to perform clinical duties.The University of South Florida is a high-impact global research university dedicated to student success. Teaches residents through case conferences and didactic lectures. Participates in collaborative scholarly activities in the department such as scientific meeting presentations and journal activities.
